Eligibility:
General:
- Must be from a developing country and show financial need.
- Cannot be residing in Japan on a working visa.
- Applicants already enrolled in postgraduate programs or receiving other scholarships are ineligible.
Master’s Applicants:
- A bachelor’s degree in a sustainability-related field.
- A GPA of 2.8+ (70% equivalent).
- English proficiency.
PhD Applicants:
- A master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 2+ years of professional experience related to UNU-IAS themes.
- A GPA of 2.8+.
- English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS).
