Senior Portfolio Manager

Chinedu Mofunanya is currently a Portfolio Manager at the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (the Nigerian Sovereign Wealth Fund) and is responsible for manager selection, due diligence, onboarding, and performance monitoring across a multi-asset strategy which includes Private and Public Equities, Hedge funds, Hard Assets, and fixed income. He started his career as an investment analyst with Zenith Capital Limited, a Lagos-based asset management firm, and went on to gain further experience working with reputable international institutions such as Barclaycard UK and Bharti Airtel.

He obtained a first degree in Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and holds an MSc in International Finance and Economic Policy from the University of Glasgow.
